If we all are paying attention to today's music scene people, you would easily take notice to the "Fronter's" and the "Stunna's." Music of the past has brought you greats like your Nas's, Rakim's, Jay-Z, Whitney Houston( before Bobby, lol!), Force M.D's and the late great Michael Jackson, but when it comes to true Atlanta Hip Hop you have your select few who really redefined the music scene for the south just to name drop a few let's take a sec.
To start lets go around the Freaknik era which for those who don't know took place in the early 9o's here in Atlanta. You have you DJ Kizzy Rock, Raheem, Kilo Ali, Goodie Mob and the Notorious "Outkast" whom took the plateau to brand new heights!!!! So wow!!!
Most wonder where is the Atl headed now with this stuff that we consider and call "RAP" music, well there is someone that you all should be paying attention to if you're not already and this young talent goes by the name of Bobby Ray a.k.a "B.o.B" this kid is carrying the name of true Atl. Hip Hop with greats of the game (T.I, Eminem, Killa Mike and Bun B) co-signing him on his road to success... Thanks B.o.B for staying true to your roots...
